Like all other schools in our area, we are dealing with an increased number of positive Covid cases across both students and staff. As you know, without enough teachers and other staff members on campus, we are not able to safely have our students in person. The administration is currently assessing the situation and trying to determine if there are any possible ways to not have to move everything to virtual at this point. We know how difficult virtual is for so many of our students and families. We have made the decision to plan for virtual learning beginning Tuesday, January 18 through Friday, January 21.
During this time, students are expected to be present and participate in classroom activities as they would when they are in the building. We understand and acknowledge that there were challenges during the virtual time in December and have taken steps to make this round a better experience for everyone.
