Message From Head of School

Greetings SWA Families,

Our students had an AMAZING first 3 days of school and were extremely excited to be in the building. As your head of school, I was delighted to see our families welcoming smiles, friendly gestures, and ideas. I know the first few days have been a challenge, so I want to present these changes.

In regards to carpool drop off, students will be allowed to be dropped off on the sidewalk beginning at the first building (Building 1) until the end of the high school building (Building 4).  Students will no longer be allowed to be dropped off in the middle of the parking lot. There will be teachers on duty both morning and afternoon to assist with this process.  When parents drop off students the “loop” will still be utilized for exit purposes. We will be working diligently this weekend to refine the afternoon carpool pickup.  Those changes will be forthcoming. Our mission will always be the safety of our students.

Parents, with your love and support we will work together and make this the best year ever! I will leave you with this:

"If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing well. If it is worth having, it is worth waiting for. If it is worth attaining, it is worth fighting for. If it is worth experiencing, it is worth putting aside time for." -Oscar Wilde

Sincerely your proud Head of School,

Dr. Brittany M. Ray
